During your initial dental examination, the dentist and  our team will inspect the health of your teeth, gums, and your jaw. This examination will begin with a series of X-rays designed to give the dentist a complete look at the underlying structures of your jaw and teeth. For patients returning to Scott Family Dental  for a six-month examination, X-rays may not be necessary unless required for a new issue like a broken or infected tooth.  Before your initial visit all necessary documents that you need to complete and return to us will be sent to you via Email or text.  The information you submit is secure and encrypted for your protection and is sent directly to our office.  Thank you for helping us prepare for your quick and easy check in.

The final portion of your general dentistry visit to Scott Family Dental  will be a thorough cleaning of your teeth and gums. A member of our hygiene team will gently yet thoroughly clean your teeth and gums, finishing the procedure with a polish designed to highlight your healthy smile.
